GET INVOLVED

Volunteer

Our events run on 100LL octane volunteerism! You don't need to be a pilot, or own a aircraft to volunteer, just a passion for aviation. The chapter includes many non-flying members who support the sport by stepping up to make all our events possible.

If the sight of "physics-defying" maneuvers, the sound of growling engines, and the camaraderie of fellow aerobatic enthusiasts is what you crave... you'll fit right in!

Registration.jpg

The registrar is the focal point for all "paper flow" at the event, and for that reason has a significant effect on how well or how poorly the event functions. The registrar is usually one of the first people the pilot comes in contact with. It is the registrar's responsibility to see the pilot has all the required paperwork and it is in proper order.

There are typically five judges who provide scoring feedback to the pilots at an aerobatic competition. They have participated in prerequisite judge training sessions and are often seasoned aerobic pilots with years of flying experience.

These individuals also have attended judge training sessions and are well versed in the Aresti language. They provide maneuver-by-maneuver input to aid the judge at providing accurate scoring feedback to each competition pilot.
