WHO IS IAC CHAPTER 35?

We are Chapter 35 of the International Aerobatic Club (IAC). Our mission is to promote and foster an environment to safely learn, explore, and excel in aerobatic flight.

We have a passion for all things aerobatic! We host numerous events to promote aerobatics and serve as a resource for those interested in aerobatic flight. If you love airplanes and want to get involved in aerobatics, you’ll want to join us!

Our diverse membership includes commercial pilots, engineers, scientists, mechanics, doctors, lawyers, and business owners, from all over New England and Quebec, Canada.

We host many types of events throughout the New England region each year. From safety seminars and competitions to scheduled practice sessions and ad hoc critique sessions to social gatherings...there's something for everyone!

Clint Davies

Clint started flying while in high school and earned his pilot and instructor certificates in college. He tasted aerobatics early in his flying career and remained active in aviation throughout his business career as a management consultant. Clint joined IAC Chapter 35 in 2016 and flew his first competition in 2017. He joined the Board as Vice President in 2022 and became President in 2024. Since retiring from his firm in 2025, Clint directs his efforts to aviation, teaching, flying aerobatics, and IAC Chapter 35.

Phil Palmer

Phil earned his Private “ticket” while attending graduate school in Philadelphia in 1996. He had his first acro flight in a Pitts S2B shortly thereafter and was hooked! He started flying competitive aerobatics in 2013 in a Super Decathlon while living in Delaware. After returning to New Hampshire in 2019, he joined IAC Chapter 35 and purchased his Christen Eagle. Phil competes at regional competitions because he loves the camaraderie of the club and joined the Board as Vice President in 2024. Phil loves taildraggers and acro!

Secretary

Steve Fiegel

Steve began flying in gliders and holds licenses in gliders, airplanes, and helicopters. A two-time Master Aerobatic CFI, he has extensive experience in a variety of aerobatic aircraft. Steve originally joined Chapter 35 in 2007 and has been an active member since returning to New Hampshire in 2017. He currently serves as the Chapter Secretary and competes in the Intermediate category. As Sales Manager for the new Integral R aerobatic aircraft, Steve plays a key role in introducing and supporting the aircraft’s entry into the U.S. market. Steve is passionate about aerobatics, safety, and fostering community in the chapter.

Philip Joseph

Phil’s interest in aviation began at an early age through his father (CFI, A&P/IA) who took him flying and to air shows. He earned his private certificate while in college, his instrument rating while stationed at WPAFB, and his commercial certificate in 2010. He joined IAC Chapter 35 and began competing in 2011. He served as Vice President for 1 year, President for 6 years, and is now the Treasurer. He flies a G-202 and competes in the Advanced category.

Annie Story

Annie grew up in Oregon and learned to fly in San Diego after high school. While working on her Private, she learned to skydive and spent all her free time in wind tunnels. She finished her certificates in Texas and moved to the Northeast to start instructing. Annie loves to share her passion for aviation with others as they learn to fly. Her spin flight made her feel the freedom and rush that she missed from skydiving. Annie started learning aerobatics after three years as an instructor. She has now competed in three regional aerobatic contests and is excited to grow in the aerobatic community.
